In my personal and professional life I’ve done several projects to help me improve my expertise as well as help others in need. here are the most notable
Professional projects:
MGMT 301 – Management simulation
As part of a collaborative management simulation, I worked with a team that served as the leadership group of a company and made strategic decisions over the course of a simulated fiscal year. We evaluated issues such as whether to hire externally or promote from within, how much to budget for employee insurance and benefits, and how to allocate resources to support performance and growth.
This experience strengthened my teamwork, decision-making, and critical thinking skills while giving me a better understanding of how management choices affect an organization’s success. It also gave me practical insight into balancing financial, operational, and human resource priorities.
Personal:
DKMS donation
After developing leadership and decision-making skills through team-based academic experiences, I have also had the opportunity to make an impact in a more personal and meaningful way. About a year and a half ago, I matched through DKMS with a man diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and completed the medical screening and bloodwork required to confirm I was a safe donor. Once cleared, I completed the donation process, which took approximately five hours. This experience was especially meaningful to me because it allowed me to directly help someone facing a serious medical challenge while reinforcing the value of commitment, responsibility, and service to others.
